This past Wednesday I had to go to my rheumatologist to have my right knee drained. He gave me a shot of cortisone with no guarantee of long lasting pain relief and also didn’t take out all of the fluid. I was very fortunate that I managed about 14 years between the first arthroscopic surgery to the first replacement however, I didn’t think that I would need the other one done so soon.
