Ooh, so excited. I was leaving for four days. Finding things that are sustainable enough to be dragged half around the country is a challenge in itself. I did make up one thing and I am so ready to share.
I started with 1 cup of almonds that I covered with warm water in a measuring cup and left overnight on the counter. The next mornign, I drained off the water and used my have processer to pulse the almonds. Still very dry so I added a spoonful of organic cold pressed coconut oil. I wanted it to be more sweet and more buttery or possible chewy so I added a spoonful of raw honey. Combined it well and put it into a small conatainer for work. It is oh so good. Has two of the good for you saturated fats and the all healing raw honey.
I almost ate some airplane cookies, which are so good but contain white flour, white sugar and I must stay away from the Twix bars. I brought out the almond honey paste and was completely satisfied.
Yeah.
