
Yesterday was the first day that actually started using some of the ideas from the Raw Diet Lifestyle. Except for the fact that I am even more hungry this evening that I usually am at this time at night I really like it. Once I can get a juicer, I will like it even more.
For the last two days, I have had fresh fruit for breakfast. I finally got to Findlay Market so I have lots of fresh fruits and vegetables. I actually wasn’t completely happy with my choices there so I went to Kroger also. I wonder if it was just the fact that it was a Sunday. The tomatoes were from Mexico for goodness sake! At least the ones at Kroger are from Canada.
Anyway, I digress. The fresh fruits I have been eating are strawberries, grapes and pears. Yesterday, I had that and a cup of coffee. For a snack I wrapped herbed goat cheese and beefsteak tomato slices in romaine lettuce leaves. For dinner, homemade whole wheat ravioli stuffed with fresh ricotta, Parmesan and Gruyere cheeses topped with homemade vegetable marinara.
Today, I had a fruit salad for breakfast with some hot tea. I snacked on veggies during the day and some yogurt covered raisins. For lunch, I scrambled some eggs with sauteed onion, orange pepper, garlic and basil. I made grilled chicken with onions and pesto, steamed broccoli and asparagus. One small scoop of ice cream.
It’s all very delicious but what can I eat now? It’s 9:22 pm and I’m hungry.
