What is Lupus?

The root cause of Lupus is that the immune system sees “enemies” within the tissues of the body… and, therefore, attacks its own tissues… in a mistaken effort to protect the body. The job of the immune system is to destroy foreign proteins (such as bacteria, virus and cancer cells). Auto immune system confusion over who is “the enemy” becomes friendly fire within our own body and is often known as lupus.
